Jonathan Manzo
Founder and Principal
Jonathan Manzo founded urb-in in San Francisco in 2013. His work brings together architectural design, project strategy, and client-side leadership, grounded in the belief that infrastructure is a key generator of urban form.
For more than a decade, Jonathan led architectural and public realm initiatives for Pacific Gas and Electric Company across a portfolio of Bay Area substation, transmission, and shoreline projects. Working with engineers, designers, agencies, and community stakeholders, he helped establish design priorities early and carry them through complex approval and delivery processes. His work includes the Hunters Point Vision Plan and award-winning projects such as the Larkin Switchgear Building and Potrero Substation.
Jonathan holds a Master of Architecture from California College of the Arts and a BA in History from Connecticut College. Before entering architecture, he worked in film and television production, an experience that continues to inform how he assembles teams and guides projects toward realization
